» Car Use Survey & Car Sharing Diary

Ecolerne is collecting details about local regular car journeys from the village. You can fill out the online survey online here.

Ecolerne's Car Sharing Diary is now available for use.

Simply create a new event in the Car Sharing Calendar with details of the journey. You can access the diary from the menu on the right hand side. You can create recurring events if required.

» Plastics & Cardboard Recycling at The Rec
The Plastics and Cardboard recycling trial is now operational at the Rec. Please remember to "Wash & Squash" your bottles, and "Pack It Flat" when leaving your cardboard.

Please note that Hills can only recycle plastic bottles and cardboard. Do not put plastic margarine tubs, meat trays or any other plastic items in the bins. The household recycling centres are able to take some of this material instead. Tetra-Pak and similar metallic coated cardboards also cannot be recycled here.

If we don't follow these guildelines, it is likely that the bins will be taken away.
